In this course, she teaches you to design and fabricate beautiful art installations using do-it-yourself techniques. Learn how to create a photo-worthy backdrop for your upcoming event from scratch, along with other decorative elements that complement your design. Bring events to life and enhance important moments with imaginative works of art.
Begin the course by getting to know installation artist Tiffany Lusteg. She talks through the creative career that led from her working in textiles to creating art installations for hotels, events, and more. Discover the influences that inspire the work she creates.
Find inspiration for your design and create a mood board that provides a cohesive direction and color scheme for your installation. Use your inspiration to create the initial sketches. Then turn your drawings into digital renderings, using Procreate to create organic forms and shapes. Format your designs in Illustrator, ensuring the dimensions of your installation are to scale. Export the final designs and create a proposal to present to a potential client.
