Start architecture school with the advice most students only hear when it is too late. This free eBook, written with Tifa Studio, gathers 50 concrete tips on sketching, relationships, documentaries and context, the things nobody explains on your first day in studio.
These are not motivational quotes. Each tip is a specific, practical move: how to study projects properly, how to learn from critiques instead of fearing them, what to watch and read, and which habits pay off over five years. Each one takes a minute to read.
📦 What's inside
- 50 tips in four themes: sketch tips, relationships, documentaries and context.
- Illustrated tip pages: every tip has its own drawing and a short explanation. "Review projects well" shows how to read a project beyond its renders: the architect's concept, plans, sections and views, and how the building handles context, structure, light and circulation.
- Advice on people, not only drawings: "Establish relationships" explains why a field that runs on relationships needs you to build them from the first year, and why being good at your work still comes first.
- Unlimited Q&A: questions about the book are welcome at [email protected].
🧩 Formats and compatibility
PDF eBook, delivered as a PDF file and as the same book in a ZIP. It opens in any PDF reader on a computer, tablet or phone.
🎯 Who it is for
First year and future architecture students, and anyone starting a design degree who wants to get the habits right from day one.
